Eco Monitors

At Trafalgar Community Infant School, we have 12 ECO Monitors who consist of two members from each Key Stage One class.

The ECO Monitors are responsible for monitoring that the ECO Code is applied in their classroom and across the school.

Eco themes are part of regular planning in all year groups as children are taught about sustainability and how to look after our planet. The ECO curriculum forms part of the Science curriculum so there is a sustainability thread through all the science learning the children do. It has links to the PSHE curriculum also.
